Gameplay wise, Morrowind beats Oblivion in many aspects. I run Oblivion heavily modded as well and can honestly say that my Morrowind game looks vastly superior to a stock Oblivion and is within striking distance of my HEAVILY modded Oblivion graphics wise. If there is something you want to add/change/modify or drastically alter to this game, there are simply at least a hundred of them that will do exactly that, pick the one you fancy most. Want more quests, download them for free, there are thousands of them from small to massive. I also run a side program called MGE that makes the game use DX9 and lets you set variables like infinite view distance ala Oblivion. I run a total retexture pack that updates absolutely every item be it fork or mountain or armor or clutter in the game. Overall Review: You can download any of the roughly 100k free mods out there to improve any aspect of the game. Create any character concept you can possibly imagine.Ĭons: The game's stock graphics are lacking. Do what you want, when you want, or don't do it at all. Total and complete character development and choices, unrestricted by the game world. You can spend 300 hours and not have experienced the breadth of the game yet. Pros: Like everyone else has said, this is the best storyline in any RPG ever.
